i don't know what is so unbelievable about this. but obviously we just have a difference of opinion.
ugh.
I have some sympathy for the Verizon guy. I used to have a job like that, and IS hard to do math over the phone. After a conversation that was embarassingly similar, I decided I should probably stop taking math-based jobs.
I hope he finds his way.
